Prior to Motorola, Tyagi was: Sr VP at sentitO Networks; Chief Strategy Officer and cofounder of Excieo Systems; and VP of Product Management at Pelago Networks.

Sasken's Aria application framework has been successfully integrated on to Texas Instruments' LoCosto single-chip value platform.
Before his VoIP/wireless startup career, Tyagi had a 10-year progressive career with Nortel Networks where he held a variety of senior leadership roles in product management and engineering functions in multiple business units.
Leading an internally funded startup within Nortel, Tyagi developed and demonstrated the industry-first "storage over agile optical network" technology.
Commenting on the appointment, Srikanth Kannankote President and COO of Sasken, said: "Rajesh brings a wealth of telecom domain experience, as well as a hugely impressive track record of innovation".

Tyagi holds a patent in optical-IP networking area and has filed multiple patents for distributed architectural solution that enables multimedia services and applications in both peer-to-peer and network-based sessions in an IMS or nonIMS domain.
He holds a master of applied science with honours (electrical engineering) from the University of Toronto, and an MBA with distinction from Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto.
