The QT160 IC is a self-contained digital QTouch chip capable of six channels of proximity or touch sensing.
The iTL710 IntelliLCD also supports TrueType fonts and bitmap files and is also capable of touchpad input.
There's even an SD card slot for storing memory-intensive detailed images.
The iTL710 IntelliLCD has a 7in-wide (800 x 480) backlit TFT LCD screen that can display crisp, fully scalable text using the included fonts, or with other TrueType-compatible font files to customise your device.
For a fast way to enter text simply plug a USB keyboard directly into the IntelliLCD's USB port.
Users can also plug in a USB mouse, trackball or touch screen to select on-screen buttons.
The iTL710 IntelliLCD responds to the USB input and relays the information back to the controller over the serial connection.
High-level commands such as line, circle, box, print etc are supported, as well as easy ways to create more complex on-screen features such as buttons, sliders, checkboxes etc.
