Beta testers wanted for prototyping aids

A Schmartboard product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Feb 25, 2005

Schmartboard is looking for potential beta testers for new product lines to be released during 2005 and beyond.

Schmartboard, a company that develops electronic circuit building blocks, is looking for potential beta testers for new product lines to be released during 2005 and beyond.

Schmartboard started shipping its original product in October 2003.

The product addressed the need to use surface mount components and the novel concept of being able to work on circuit blocks and then connecting the blocks together using the patent pending SchmartBridge technology.

According to Neal Greenberg, Schmartboard's VP Sales and Marketing: "Over the 16 months that Schmartboard has been shipping, we have had a continuous dialogue with our customers to determine what needs must be addressed to make prototyping as easy and inexpensive as possible".

"Based on this input, we have spent money on R and D and have better defined our roadmap".

Schmartboard will release new products over 2005 that will address the concerns of Schmartboard users from industry, education and the hobby market.

Says Greenberg: "We would like to beta-test many of these products before releasing them".

"This will allow us to determine to what degree we have addressed some of the stated prototyping issues".

Anyone interested in becoming a Schmartboard beta tester can get further information from the company's website.
