Awards to reward prototyping Schmarties
Engineers, students and hobbyists from around the world are invited to enter the first annual Schmartie Awards.

Board speeds prototyping without jumpers
Schmartboard is a novel circuit prototyping tool for electronics engineers, engineering students and electronics hobbyists.
From now until 15th November 2006 entrants can post SchmartScematics (electronic circuits using SchmartBoard prototyping products) for users to download and use in their own projects.
In December, the company will will open up voting for the five favourite circuits.
All registered user will be able to vote.
In January 2007 SchmartBoard will post the five winners who will each receive an iPod Nano and a certificate.
All participants who enter the contest and post a schematic per the instructions will receive free SchmartBoards to build their schematics and a SchmartBoard T-shirt.
Early Schmartie entrants include users from the USA, Canada, India, Australia, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, France and Mexico.
SchmartBoard hopes to attract participants from the worlds of robotics, amateur radio, model railways and other electronic hobby areas in addition to those involved in pure electronics.
Cosponsors of the awards programme include Hobby Engineering, Intellect Lab, R and D Electronic Parts, Titan PCB and Parallax.
