EIS-4024-1U is a high performance InfiniBand 24-port 4x copper cable unmanaged switch.
Based on a single Mellanox InfiniScale III integrated switch semiconductor, the switch has an aggregate bandwidth of 480Gbit/s and less than 200ns latency.
Each 4x port supports bit rates of up to 10Gbit/s in each direction allowing a 16Gbit/s full-duplex datarate per port.
The switch is enclosed in a compact 1U 19in rack-mount chassis with all InfiniBand ports at the rear of the chassis.
Two hot-swap power supply modules are located in the front of the chassis and have universal 110 or 220V AC inputs.
A hot swap fan module, also located in the front, provides airflow from front to back.
With dual 20Gbit/s 4x InfiniBand ports, the IB4X-LPCIX-2 HCA provides the advantages of InfiniBand technology in a low-profile PCI form factor.
Based on Mellanox InfiniHost silicon, this board is capable of full wire speed transmissions over InfiniBand links.
It also fully supports RDMA transfers, which reduce CPU overhead and free up host processors for application use.
In addition, this HCA includes application support for Sockets Direct Protocol (SDP), Internet Protocol over InfiniBand (IPoIB) to enable TCP/IP to run over InfiniBand links, and SCSI Remote Protocol (SRP) initiator to enable storage area networking (SAN).
The IB4X-LPCIX-2 HCA can handle a 32 or 64bit PCI or PIC-X bus with frequencies up to 133MHz.
It comes with 128Mbyte of high-speed DDR memory and features sophisticated QoS at each port to manage performance levels.
A Linux driver for RedHat Linux 7.3 is included with the hardware.
The IB4X-LPCIX-2 is priced at $1200.00.
The EIS-4024-1U is priced at $7500.00.
Both products are available now.
