CompactPCI SBC takes the rough with the smooth
The CM4 3U is a CompactPCI single board computer for new and legacy commercial and government COTS applications operating in harsh environments.
"The 1.6GHz Intel Pentium M processor is the foundation of these SBCs, which are enhanced through their I/O interfaces, communications capabilities, and graphics subsystems.
These boards set a new benchmark for Intel processor based VMEbus products and offer the excellent performance to engineers requiring embedded systems processor boards." Each VME board is compliant with the VITA 31.1 specification.
They both include the Nvidia Geforce 4 Go graphics accelerator providing VGA/LCD resolutions up to 2048 x 1536.

The EC6 is an all-in-one single board computer offering scalable processing power with low power consumption.
Both boards offer two PMC interfaces, one high performance PMC slot (64bit/66MHz) and a second standard PMC slot (32bit/33MHz) for front or rear I/O.
The EIDE interface supports Ultra ATA 100, which enhances HDD access for faster read and writes.
The operating systems supported are Windows 2000, Windows XP, QNX, VxWorks, LynxOS, Linux and others.
The VR9 is the first VMEbus Intel Pentium M processor based single board computer with optional conduction cooling and a extended temperature range up to -40 to +65C, increased shock and vibration immunity using stiffener bars, wedge locks, and conformal coating.
The conduction cooled VR9 is compliant to ANSI/VITA 20-2001.
The VR9 provides a unique feature set that offers a high level of functional integration.
The VGA/TFT, Gigabit Ethernet and serial interfaces all within a single slot and the freedom to use the PMC interfaces makes this a highly configurable robust solution for many rugged applications requiring a powerful VME computer.
The VP9 has a dual-slot wide front panel that allows two PMCs and a hard disk or a Flash drive to be mounted in parallel.
Versions of the front panel I/O are available in various configurations with and without PMC support.
The VP9 is designed to meet the needs of embedded applications like automation, medical, scientific, imaging, telecommunication, transportation, and others.
The VP9 is also available in an extended temperature version with an operating temperature range of -40 to +55C.
Both single board computers are available now and pricing is based on configuration.
Starting price for the VR9 is US $4700.00 and the VP9 is US $4500.00.
