The official opening of the new Schaffner site by XuJiang, the vice magistrate of the local district and director of Kang Qiao Industrial park took place on June 21st 2002.
The opening of the China office marks the 40th anniversary of Schaffner.
All Chinese orders for standard filters and chokes will now be fulfilled from locally manufactured stock, reducing lead times for customers.
EMC test chambers up to 10m2 are to be made at the new Shanghai facility, which offers Schaffner's turnkey project management services for EMC test facility design, build and system integration throughout China, Korea, Malaysia, Japan and Australia.
A fully equipped EMC immunity and emissions test chamber the first to be supplied from the new facility to China is currently being installed at a Chinese automotive component manufacturer.
The chamber includes a fully configured automotive EMC test system for both emission and immunity to meet international and specific vehicle manufacturers' test specifications.
The new facility will also offer comprehensive technical support for Schaffner's EMC components and test instrumentation businesses in China. Request free introductory details about products from Schaffner ...
