The Wokingham based world leader in EMC test equipment, components and systems has many years experience in design, manufacture and supply of broadband RF power amplifiers for EMC testing to customers worldwide.

Experience has proved the RF amplifier products to be highly reliable in the field while operating in very demanding EMC RF immunity testing applications.

Frequently the amplifiers will be operated at their limits and into loads with poor VSWR matching.

Continuous design improvement and careful analysis of any fault reports has demonstrated the long term reliability of these products, enabling Schaffner to increase the warranty period from one year to three.

All amplifiers in the Schaffner CBA range are solid state, Class A configured and therefore tolerant of load mismatches.

They have been specifically designed for EMC RF immunity testing with frequency ranges and power output levels meeting the demands of international testing standards.

A very wide range of amplifiers is available covering the frequency range 10kHz to 3GHz with output power up to 1kW.
