New appointment strengthens UK sales

Schaffner announces the appointment of Chris Myers as sales manager for the northern region of the UK.

Schaffner, the supplier of EMC filters and components, announces the appointment of Chris Myers as sales manager for the northern region of the UK.

Chris has joined Schaffner with seven years experience working in electrical and electronic engineering and has a great deal of expertise working on large projects in energy and industrial markets.

Chris has worked with OEMs, machine builders and contractors, which will enable him to understand the EMC requirements of all sections of industry and provide the most suitable EMC solutions for their systems.

Components Sales Manager, comments: "This is an important appointment for Schaffner which increases our UK presence and will support our key customers and distributors in our growing market in the North of England".

In addition to his practical experience Chris has an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and also a HND in Business, Finance and Marketing.

He has a keen interest in football and plays in a five-a-side team at weekends and also likes watching football as often as he can.

Chris also swims as often as possible and when he was 16 he represented the English Youth Swimming Team swimming in Canada and America.
