Schurter has released a range of data and signal connectors, comprising 2.5, 3.5 and 6.3mm two- and three-pole plugs and sockets.

Schurter has released a range of data and signal connectors, comprising 2.5, 3.5 and 6.3mm two- and three-pole plugs and sockets, designed for connection of low-voltage AC and DC high-impedance sources where a stable low contact resistance is required.

Plugs are constructed using injection moulding, which ensures that no air gaps exist between conductors and also ensures a stable signal transfer, and makes the unit virtually indestructible in normal daily use.

Nickel-plated brass is used for the plug contacts with silver plating used on contact terminations.

Gold plating is used on socket contact surfaces for long life and reduced contact resistance.

Typical applications include broadcast, telecommunications, data transfer (gaming machines, tickets machines) and medical.
