Surface-mount polymer PTC fuses
Schurter has improved its PFMC series of polymer based 4.5 x 3.2mm PTC fuses, and renamed it the PFMD series.
The UV 45 is characterised by a positive trip-free release meaning that the contacts cannot be closed when the supply voltage is too low and it is not possible to prevent a release by blocking the rocker.
As an option, the UV 45 can also be supplied to perform the function of remote trip release.
In this version, an external contact arrangement connected in series with the UV 45 relay releases the switch.
A range of different covers and collars enhance the areas of application of the switch up to a protection degree of IP65.
The rocker is available with different colours and markings.
The UV 45 is suitable for machines in the woodworking, building and masonry industries as well as for electronic appliances in the consumer goods and hobby markets.
It improves safety for the user and fulfils the requirements of national and international standards (IEC, UL, CSA, EN). Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
