Surface-mount polymer PTC fuses
Schurter has improved its PFMC series of polymer based 4.5 x 3.2mm PTC fuses, and renamed it the PFMD series.
The circuit breakers have up to three poles, with current capabilities from 100mA to 100A.
All types are available with different tripping characteristics, finely graded currents as well as with different internal switching options such as parallel tripping, dual control, alarm switch, auxiliary switch or relay tripping.
Devices are approved to VDE and UL standards.
Hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers with time-lag tripping characteristics are suitable for protecting motors, solenoids, relays or installations.
Devices with more quick-acting characteristics can be used to protect components such as power supplies and semiconductor-based circuits.
Typical application areas include cellular basestations, telephone systems or ADSL and UMTS stations.
Further application areas are computer systems, power supplies, test and measurement systems and industry processing machines. Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
