A new range of PCB-mounting power-inlet modules offer valuable space, process and logistic benefits compared with conventional wired types.

A new range of PCB-mounting power-inlet modules offer valuable space, process and logistic benefits compared with conventional wired types.

The DC21 power entry module consists of an IEC/EN60320-1/C14 appliance inlet with a one- or two-pole line switch.

The DC22 module also includes a powerline filter.

The DC21 and DC22 are made especially for high inrush currents and are suitable for high transient loads.

The DC22, with its EMC line filter, is available in standard and medical versions.

The inlets are prewired and connected to the PCB via solder pins.

Versions are available with illuminated switches for status indication.

Physical dimensions are the same for one- and two-pole versions, and options for screw-on and snap-in mounting offer increased flexibility.

The DC21 and DC22 are rated at 10A, 125/250V AC, 50/60Hz according to ENEC, UL and CSA.

They are suitable for use in equipment according to IEC/EN60950.

The inlets are ideal for use in sophisticated power supplies especially in IT, medical and measurement as well as in other industrial equipment.
