Surface-mount polymer PTC fuses
Schurter has improved its PFMC series of polymer based 4.5 x 3.2mm PTC fuses, and renamed it the PFMD series.
The new metal flange versions of the Schurter C20F, DC12 and KFA filtered power inlet modules can be mounted on the inside of appliance enclosures, simplifying assembly processes.
Also, thanks to the optimised construction of the filter case fixing nuts have been eliminated.
The electrical subassemblies, including the power supply, can now be completely tested before they are assembled into the appliance enclosure.
These extensions to the product range support appliance manufacturers in their product optimising efforts and therefore offer them significant competitive advantage.
In addition to the metal flange there are many other optional features such as stranded wire connections, illuminated switches and medical filter versions for use in appliances with indirect contact to patients.
The C20F, DC12 and KFA ranges are approved according ENEC, UL and CSA.
They are designed for appliances according IEC/EN60950 respectively to be used in medical equipment according IEC60601-1.
The products are ideal for use in sophisticated power supplies, particularly medical and measuring equipment, as well as in IT equipment and other industrial appliances. Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
