Power entry modules are made for PCB
mounting
Compact PCB-mounting power inlet modules are ideally suited for use in equipment with low headroom, particularly in IT and telecomms infrastructure.
Two new series of power entry modules are designed especially for PCB mounting The DD21 series is a multifunction device that combines appliance connector, switching and fusing, and the DD22 series adds either a standard or medical-grade EMI filter

Surface-mount polymer PTC fuses
Schurter has improved its PFMC series of polymer based 4.5 x 3.2mm PTC fuses, and renamed it the PFMD series.
Besides their maximum functionality, the compactness of these products also makes them ideally suited for use in equipment with low headroom, particularly in IT and telecomms infrastructure.
Both series feature a two-pole switch - rated for inrush current peaks of 100A capacitive for 3ms -available in either an illuminated or nonilluminated arrangement.
The series can be equipped with one- or two-pole fuse holders for 5x20 fuselinks.
The DD21 is rated for currents of 8 and 10A; the DD22 series for 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10A.
The power entry modules fulfil the requirements of IEC/EN60950, and are ENEC and UL/CSA approved up to 10A 250V AC 50Hz and 8A 125/250V AC 60Hz, respectively.
On request Schurter can offer special configurations such as protection class II arrangements or filters with special X1 capacitors for increased dielectric strength.
Mounting is via M3 or self-tapping screws onto a PCB or on the rear of the housing with M3 screws. Request a free brochure from Schurter ...
