Available now from Schaefer is the the C5100 Series of 5000W 3 and 5U plug-in DC/DC and AC/DC convertor modules.
Convertor modules power up to 15kW
Schaefer has introduced the CW5500 Series of 15kW, 5U-high, 19in-wide rack style, water-cooled DC/DC and AC/DC convertor modules.
The AEP-2000R Series is available in three standard input configurations of 12 and 24V DC and the less frequently found 48V DC.
Outputs are available in 115 or 230V AC (50/60Hz) versions, which are regulated to +/-2% or better.
A built-in 4-6ms automatic bypass switch allows for redundant operation from utility power if the DC supply drops out.
All models in the AEP-2000R Series feature comprehensive protection circuitry and a digital display to monitor/indicate low input voltage, short circuit, input overvoltage, over temperature, overload and low battery.
The display also indicates voltage, amperage, power and temperature.
Efficiency runs about 86-92%, depending on model selected.
Operating temperature is 0 to 40C.
EMI is minimised for reduced impact on other sensitive equipment.
The compact, rack-mount design is rugged and ideal for industrial, satellite, military, computer, recreational, marine and general backup power applications.
The slim size of 435 x 424 x 88mm fits easily into low-profile (2U) racks.
Schaefer's full family of pure sinewave inverters also includes modules starting at 700W of power, along with higher power three-in-onr units that include a UPS and battery charger.
Modifications to standard units are available.
In addition, Schaefer can design and manufacture fully custom solutions.
AEP-2000R pricing is from $849.00 at 100 pieces, with significant OEM quantity discounts.
Delivery is stock to 8 weeks ARO.
