Convertor modules power up to 15kW
Schaefer has introduced the CW5500 Series of 15kW, 5U-high, 19in-wide rack style, water-cooled DC/DC and AC/DC convertor modules.
The C4700 series features a lineup of over 200 standard models, with requests for modifications also welcomed.
Nine standard DC input voltage options span a range from 10 to 800V DC.
AC input models offer either 1-Phase or 3-Phase options as well as battery charging models.
Single outputs are available in twelve standard ranges encompassing 4.5-400V DC.
All outputs are adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% or better (load) and 0.1% (line).
DC/DC and AC/DC models have remote sense capability.
The C4700 series has comprehensive protection circuitry and efficiencies are up to 95%.
Operating temperature is -20 to +75C, with -40 to +75C available as an option.
The units are packaged in a space saving 6U rack module, a wall mount module, or a newly introduced chassis mount configuration.
Options include decoupling diodes for parallel/redundant operation, more rugged verson, power fail/DC-OK alarms, system reset and programming/monitoring functions.
Mechanical and electrical modifications to standard modules are available on request.
In addition, Schaefer can design and manufacture fully custom solutions.
