175W and 350W supplies for CompactPCI 19in racks
Schroff, one of the industry's leading manufacturers of CompactPCI Microcomputer Packaging solutions, has unveiled a complementary range of 19" power supplies.
Cut-down prices for CPCI
Europac Integral offers all the benefits of a standard CPCI system including high stability, robustness and EMC shielding but at a far-reduced cost.
As fibre-optic technology continues its advance down to the desktop, this new product family therefore represents the ideal solution for implementing space-saving and cost-effective distribution subunits and floor distribution cabinets.
The modular enclosure system is constructed of sheet steel and comprises a miniature enclosure for up to 48 fibres, a base enclosure capable of accommodating up to 288 fibres, and add-on modules enabling the user to increase the number of fibres to a total of 576.
Installation of the fibre-optic and telephone distribution technology couldn't be easier.
The C-shaped design principle and the hinged sidewalls allow very good accessibility to all the modules.
What's more, cladding components and splice trays can be assembled and disassembled without the need for tools of any kind.
This dramatically shortens installation times.
Another feature calculated to make life easier for the user is that each individual splice tray is freely accessible for service work.
To allow 19in patch panels to be installed in the base enclosure, adjustable brackets are provided at 20mm intervals, enabling a maximum 4U-high vertical 19in level to be implemented.
In addition, a sidewall with integrated 19in mounting level for maximum 3U permits the enclosure to be subdivided into, for example, fibre-optic cabling and patching segments.
To complement its wall-mount enclosure series, Schroff provides a vast range of accessories, including splice trays, splice tray holders and sleeves, as well as cable routing aids etc.
