Schroff is offering an economical midrange case option with fully exchangeable design elements allowing use as a desktop enclosure, tower or portable case - making it an extremely adaptable option compared to conventional systems Propac uses a one-piece diecast aluminium frontframe screwed to aluminium extruded side panels - providing very accurate tolerances, with increased rigidity, strength, and therefore high levels of EMC

This makes the product ideally suited for the CompactPCI market.

For producing application specific enclosures, quickly and economically, Schroff offers its Front Panel Fast Track express service with this product, providing a range of modifications to exactly meet customer specifications.

Schroff includes options for depth variants and colour finish, printing on front and rear panels and cutouts in front panels, rear panels, covers and base plates.

Due to the flexible design of Propac, these modifications can be done easily and at low cost, for even medium size quantity orders - when in the past customers needed to order large quantities to get this facility at the right price.

Side panels have a 10mm mounting pitch with additional channels to allow direct installation of accessories, such as handles and chassis plates.

Free areas have been provided for increased airflow underneath and above the installed 19in units.
