Schroff, one of the industry's leading manufacturers of CompactPCI Microcomputer Packaging solutions, has unveiled a complementary range of 19" power supplies.
Cut-down prices for CPCI
Europac Integral offers all the benefits of a standard CPCI system including high stability, robustness and EMC shielding but at a far-reduced cost.
These cooling units are therefore an ideal solution for industrial, electronics and telecommunications applications.
Five cooling capacities are presently available between 400 and 2600W.
The use of rotary compressors enables a uniquely flat design, which has been implemented initially in the 400 and 2600W models.
Schroff is also planning to introduce this innovative format for other power categories in the near future.
Expertise in air conditioning technology is of particular importance to Schroff.
This is because the enclosure specialists are increasingly supplying complete systems from one source, where all necessary components for electronic packaging are already integrated - from backplanes, to power supplies, from EMC measures, cabling and cabinet monitoring, right through to cooling.
The new Schroff air conditioner units are available worldwide as basic components for integrated and customised projects.
"With this new family of cooling units we are in the ideal position of being able to offer our project-business customers tailor-made air conditioning solutions that can be optimised both in terms of development time and costs", says Keith Reynolds, Schroff Technical Manager.
Several air conditioner units (all are standard with IP54 protection) offer a flexible warm air outlet design; the user can choose to release the heat upwards or towards the front depending on the position of a cover plate.
The removable front cover also simplifies general maintenance without having to remove the unit from the cabinet, for example if fans or control components require replacing.
