Schroff, one of the industry's leading manufacturers of CompactPCI Microcomputer Packaging solutions, has unveiled a complementary range of 19" power supplies.
Now Schroff has extended its maxpowerPro range with two power supplies (AC/DC and DC/DC) with equal dimensions (6U/8HP/160mm deep) which fulfil the demands of users in the telecomms, automation and MSR technology sectors through higher performance density and increased efficiency.
Schroff maxpowerPro power supplies are now available with an output rating of 400W and 83% efficiency.
With an AC input of 85 to 264V AC or a DC input of 36 to 72V DC they can be used in a broad range of areas.
The units supply the 3.3, 5 and +/-12V demanded by the cPCI standard, with 80A at 3.3V and 50A at 5V.
The current share bus guarantees even current distribution during parallel switching at the ports in redundant operation (n+1).
Furthermore the temperature range at full performance has been increased to 55C.
The hot swap capable units are fitted with the P47 connector demanded by the cPCI standard and possess all relevant certifications (CE, TUV, UL and CSA).
