Schroff has developed a series of small enclosures from its RatiopacPro and RatiopacPro-air families for accommodating Euroboards, 19in plug-in units and nonstandard assemblies.

Schroff has developed a series of small enclosures from its RatiopacPro and RatiopacPro-air families for accommodating Euroboards, 19in plug-in units and nonstandard assemblies The new series is based on the existing 6U-high RatiopacPro enclosure rotated through 90 degrees, so that the side extrusions now form the top and base of the small unit

The horizontal rails now represent the inner side elements.

The external covers can be fitted and removed without the use of tools and there are no visible retaining screws for the covers, thereby enhancing the case's aesthetic appeal.

Additional coloured strips that can be integrated easily give the design an individual appearance.

These robust metal EMC-shielded cases are suitable for use with extractor handles to IEEE1101.10/11.

The internal board area complies fully with the 19in dimensions specified in IEC60297-3.

Free spaces at the side of the "air" version provide optimum cooling.

The RatiopacPro small enclosures are particularly suitable for applications in the area of automation, medical and measurement technology.

Both versions (RatiopacPro and air) are available in various heights of 4, 8, 12 and 16HP and come with a range of accessories such as optional round or tip-up feet.
