Schroff now offers a complete PXI system as a portable tabletop case.

The PXI standard offers a modular architecture, which uses the PCIbus with its CompactPCI form factor for a wide range of PC based test and measurement applications Schroff now offers a complete PXI system as a portable tabletop case

These shielded 4U systems are based on the proven RatiopacPro case and conform to IEEE1101.

Different models are available for housing backplanes with 8 to 21 slots.

The tabletop cases can also be provided with 19in mounting brackets for installation into a rack or cabinet.

Modifications and customer specific configurations can be realised easily on request.

The systems are equipped with 3U PXI backplanes conforming to PICMG 2.0 R3.0 cPCI Core Standard and efficient ATX or open frame power supplies.

Following the standard, the systems slot has been arranged to the left, and so can be extended with pluggable 64bit PXI bridges with no loss of slots.

Using clock changeover either the clock created on the backplane or an external clock can be used.

The PXI systems are hot swap compatible and conform to PICMG 2.8 pin registration for PXI and the PICMG 2.9 R1.0 system management standard.

The installed components are cooled using three controllable 120mm DC fans via the baseplate at the rear panel.

A remote on/off switch for the power supply is positioned on the front of the unit along with voltage indication LEDs.

All standard systems are available ex stock and are fully assembled, wired and tested.
