Schroff, one of the industry's leading manufacturers of CompactPCI Microcomputer Packaging solutions, has unveiled a complementary range of 19" power supplies.
Particularly aimed at datacom and telecom applications, the new SEC148-200 power supply provides a main output of 48V, together with a battery-charging output of 56V.
The PSU is designed for mounting in a 3U-high subrack and can be used in hot-swap capable systems.
Since it operates without fan cooling, it achieves a high MTBF and is therefore ideal for high-availability n+1 redundant applications.
When used with active power factor correction according to EN 61000-3-2, the SEC148-200 can achieve efficiency levels as high as 98%.
The PSU features an input voltage range of 90 to 256V AC and can be specified with an optional integrated microcontroller to provide monitoring, control and alarm functionality.
All ecopower SEC148-200 power supplies undergo fully automatic testing, including AOI and burn-in for a minimum of eight hours to ensure the high quality of the product.
