Cabinets provide space for cabling

A Schroff UK product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Oct 5, 2007

Schroff Varistar Server cabinets offer a spacing of 740mm between front and rear panel mounts, with a 120mm gap at the front for patch cables and a 340mm gap at the rear for power and data cables.

Schroff has expanded its Varistar Server range of cabinets with a new series of 1200mm-deep models that have been designed to provide ample space for both front and rear cabling.

Capable of accommodating servers from all leading manufacturers, the cabinets offer a spacing of 740mm between front and rear panel mounts, with a 120mm gap at the front for patch cables and a 340mm gap at the rear for power and data cables.

As well as providing this additional space for cabling, the new cabinets will also facilitate data centre layout since they fit into the 1200mm pitch of the standard tiles used in raised access flooring.

The new Varistar Server cabinets are available from stock in widths of 600 or 800mm and heights of 1200, 2000 or 2200mm.

The range includes both stand-alone and side-by-side configurations, and the cabinets can be specified in either stone grey (RAL 7021) or a stone grey/light grey (RAL 7021/7035) combination.

Supplied fully assembled, the cabinets feature perforated doors and a static load-carrying capacity of up to 800kg for heavy-duty applications.
