Acquisition cards handle fast repetition
rates

The M2i.20xx series of cards comprises four models with two or four synchronous channels from 50 to 200Msample/s.

New from Spectrum, the M2i.20xx series of cards comprises four models with two or four synchronous channels from 50 to 200Msample/s The cards are compatible with PCI and PCI-X slots as well as 3.3 and 5V I/Os

Used together with the multiple recording option these cards are ideal for all applications needing fast repetition rates.

Cards of the M2i.20xx series can be used in radar, sonar, ultrasound or medical equipment.

The multiple recording option allows the acquisition of trigger events with a high repetition rate without the need to restart the hardware in between.

A dead time of less than four clock cycles between two events makes sure that no event ges lost.

Segment size, pretrigger and posttrigger can be freely programmed with a step size of four.

In addition it is possible to program a trigger delay in case that the area of interest is located behind the trigger event.

Trigger source can be an external trigger event or one or even several combined channel trigger events.

Each channel has its own trigger detection with level, edge, re-arm, window and steepness trigger.

All cards of the M2i series can be ordered together with the BaseXIO extension as a special option.

This option allows the conjunction of multiple external trigger sources with AND and/or OR masks allowing to implement video triggers or gated trigger detection.

All acquired data are written into onboard memory, which ranges from 64Mbyte in the standard version up to 4Gbyte.

The memory can be completely used as a FIFO buffer.

Using this FIFO mode it is possible to do continuous data streaming into the PC memory as long as the average amount of data does not exceed the maximum available transfer speed of 225Mbyte/s (PCI-X) or 115Mbyte/s (PCI).

The cards of the M2i series are delivered with drivers for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP64 and Linux as well as several programming examples.

As an option a huge variety of third-party products like LabView, LabWindows, Matlab, VEE, DasyLab or MS Excel are supported. Request a free brochure from Spectrum Systementwicklung Microelectronic ...
