Acquisition cards cover all PC buses

Series includes cards with two, four and eight channels with sampling rates between 1 and 25Msample/s.

Spectrum has launched a fast multichannel data acquisition card that is available for all current PC bus systems All nine versions of the M2i.31xx series are available for the same price as either a PCI/PCI-X version or a PCI Express version

All cards have a completely synchronous design as a common feature.

Each input channel has an individually programmable input amplifier with ranges between +/-50mV and +/-10V as well as a separate ADC.

The series includes cards with two, four and eight channels with sampling rates between 1 and 25Msample/s.

Data can be stored in a large onboard memory of up to 2Gsample, and the memory can also be used as a FIFO buffer during continuous transfer of data to the PC.

This can for example be used for online analysis or lifetime tests.

A multiple recording mode allows users to acquire multiple trigger events that occur at a very fast repetition rate.

The dead time is only four samples, resulting in the trigger engine being re-armed after only 160ns when running at 25Msample/s.

All cards in the M2i series - which comprises more than 100 different models - may be synchronised using the internal sync-bus.

This allows users to create massive parallel acquisition systems with more than 1000 channels as well as mixed mode systems with synchronised A/D, D/A and digital I/O cards.

Each card is delivered with drivers for Windows 2000, XP, Vista as well as Linux kernel 2.4 and 2.6.

Both 32 and 64bit version are supported on all operating systems.

Easy-to-program drivers, powerful example programs and detailed documentation allow speedy development of user applications.

Drivers are also available for Matlab, LabView, LabWindows, DasyLab and VEE. Request a free brochure from Spectrum Systementwicklung Microelectronic ...
