Siano Mobile Silicon has announced that personal navigation device (PND) makers Garmin, Mio and Navigon have integrated its MDTV receiver chips into their latest GPS products.
Based on Siano's family of receiver chips, the PND devices are said to offer a superior mobile digital TV (MDTV) viewing experience - enabling reception in extreme conditions to meet the high demands of PND users.
Siano enables all vendors with 'free-to-the-user' mobile TV viewing, transmitting television programmes from major terrestrial television channels.
