"This is a very exciting product for us", said Stuart Parker, Managing Director of SDC.
"For engineers looking to develop real-time or deeply embedded systems, the Tilcon Interface Developer Suite will be a very attractive solution".
"It is now a mature and proven product that runs on a broad range of operating systems, providing a very high quality graphical solution that will add considerable value to an embedded system".

The Tilcon IDS is a multi-platform user interface technology (GUI and HMI builder) that delivers robust, highly interactive user interfaces for real-time and embedded applications.
The Tilcon solution is based on a scalable graphics kernel that manages all aspects of the display and user interaction as a service to distributed API clients and works directly with the native RTOS (such as VxWorks) and core graphics library (such as WindML, Win32, Photon and upcoming OpenGL ES).
The Tilcon IDS also takes full advantage of the hardware platforms (such as SH4, PPC, ARM, XScale and X86) in order to enhance performance speed.
"The Tilcon IDS is an out-of-the-box solution", said Parker.
"It will save many man-hours of writing low level graphical C/C++ code, providing reduced development costs, faster time to market and almost certainly a more refined solution".
"With its proven performance within telematics systems, the AAE Show seemed the ideal place for us to launch it".
AAE-2007 is the follow up to the very successful AAE-2006.
Last year's event has been held in high regard for its excellent conference, high quality visitors, broad range of exhibitors and overall management.
Key to the success and attraction of this event is the fact that electronics now form the backbone of many systems which result in safer, more efficient, economical and environmentally friendly modes of transport.
With an ever-increasing range of leading-edge technologies emerging into the automotive market this is one of the most exciting and dynamic manufacturing sectors in the world.
In fact, global industry analysts are already estimating that by 2010 a massive 40% of the content of a mid-sized car could be accounted for by electronics.
The AAE events have become the leading UK conference and exhibition to address this growing part of the technology sector.
