Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Mar 1, 2007

Sondrel personnel will speak at Magma's Music Silicon Valley user conference and the IET and FSA International Semiconductor Forum.

European IC consultancy Sondrel starts its 2007 speaker programme with contributions at Magma's Music Silicon Valley user conference and the IET and FSA International Semiconductor Forum.

Building on an award-winning presentation delivered in 2005, Omry Yeshurun, a consultant at Sondrel, will present a paper titled "Scripting innovative design process solutions" at Music Silicon Valley 2007.

Real-life case studies will demonstrate ways of improving productivity and quality of results at 90nm and beyond.

Scripts discussed in the presentation will be available for download from the Sondrel website following the event.

Graham Curren, CEO, Sondrel, will take part in a panel discussion titled "Where are we going with DFY (design for yield), DFT (design for test), and DFM (design for manufacturing)?" at the IET and FSA International Semiconductor Forum.

Curren commented: "The scripting expertise that we offer is based on our collective experience of improving quality of results for advanced chip designs".

"It helps to address a number of IC design problems and improve productivity for customers that outsource their designs to us".
