Schmidt Electronics Asia has an advanced drill and test facility in South China, which provides real-time simulation of high-end mechanical drilling and testing processes as well as related manufacturing services to leading electronics manufacturers in the Pearl River Delta.
This facility will be the new centre of competence for Siemens Dematic.
Initially two Microbeam laser drilling systems (UV and CO2 based) from Siemens Dematic China will be installed at the Dongguan facility to demonstrate the superior capabilities of the respective laser drilling systems in a real factory environment and to provide local evaluation services for prospective customers.
