SensoPart claims its new SmartPlug enables users to realise time functions, counting, polarity conversion and speed control, with a minimum effort of installation.
The colour tolerances and variations are then automatically stored in the memory.
Additionally the sensor can be reconfigured for remote teach and time delay output.
The F50 colour sensor also has the large operation range for a colour sensor.
Colours can be accurately detected between 12 and 32mm from the sensor, with a high +/-6mm tolerance to moving or unsteady targets.
The sensor can operate in either diffuse or retro-reflective modes.
This allows the reliable detection of coloured liquids or detection of varying shades and colours of glass.
Applications include, colour registration, colour detection, printed text detection, liquid colour detection and coloured glass detection.
A locking function enables the locking of the sensor's setting keys, thus protecting the sensor from unintentional maladjustment.
The FT50C is sealed to IP67 and has a switching frequency of 500Hz.
Tight electronic and optical packaging means the sensor has all amplifiers onboard, within its overall dimensions of 50 x 50 x 17mm.
The new F50 colour sensor has the low price of £230.
