Onboard Electronics specialises in distribution of enclosures and electronic components from world leading manufacturers covering interconnection products, circuit protection, LEDs, LED displays and lamps, switches, relays and buzzers.
The acquisition provides an immediate broad expansion to Selectronix's already comprehensive distribution business as Graham Redding, managing director commented, "This is a very positive move for Selectronix.
The two companies are an excellent fit in terms of customer bases and product ranges and we anticipate considerable growth through crosspollenation of the businesses.
Onboard Electronics will operate out of Selectronix's base in Aldermaston, Berkshire".
Product lines available through the Onboard portfolio include Omron, Phoenix Contact, Hammond Manufacturing, Eddystone, Fibox, Binder and Kingbright.
