Renesas is the world's number one microcontroller vendor and number three semiconductor manufacturer worldwide.

Steven Manley, General Manager responsible for M16C sales of Renesas Technology Europe said, "With this kind of dedicated focus we are anticipating double digit growth for the M16C in the industrial microcontroller business in the UK, having enjoyed considerable success with this range in medical, utility, security, data logging and point of sale applications.

In conjunction with Sequoia we have made the decision to build a partnership with a distributor with a common mindset to ourselves, to jointly develop and exploit these opportunities".
