A new dual version of a popular single-inline relay offers two-channel switching in the same footprint, and with just 2mm of extra height compared with the existing single-channel version.

Sequoia has added a new dual version of a popular single-inline relay, offering two-channel switching in a package with the same footprint, and just 2mm of extra height to accommodate the extra switch compared with the existing single-channel version Ideal for high density, quality sensitive telecommunications and test and measurement applications, the new Coto Technology 9092 miniature SIP reed relay uses the same Form A (SPST normally open) switching technology as its popular 9091 relay

Measuring 3.81 x 15.24 x 8.89mm high, this ultracompact device is supplied in a 6-lead package with the same board area as the 4-pin 9091.

A standard external magnetic shield reduces interaction of relays that may be mounted in close proximity; high dielectric strength materials and moulded thermo-set body provide a robust design.

Like the 9091, the 9092 uses Coto's 10W switch technology, making these SIP relays ideal for use in ATE applications and other high reliability test, measurement and telecommunications applications where high board density and long life are key requirements.

Sequoia is offering the 9092 miniature SIP relay with 5 or 12V coils.
