The Sigma 1kW programmable switched-mode power supply is designed to provide a highly accurate and stable source of DC power.

The Sigma 1kW programmable switched-mode power supply is designed to provide a highly accurate and stable source of DC power.

Manufactured in the UK and having been designed for a variety of applications including electrocholorination, electrochemical processes, and controlled battery charging.

The new series consists of three models with output voltage ranges of 0-15, 0-30 and 0-60V, with respective currents of 0-100, 0-45 and 0-30A.

Models operate from 170-264V AC or 200-370V DC.

Manual adjustment of output voltage and current settings is accomplished using remote 10K potentiometers, and a built-in remote programming connection interface gives voltage, current and power programmable functions with (0-5V) programming inputs.

The unit is CE marked to EN60950/IEC 1010 safety standards, as well as relevant parts of EN50081, EN55022B and EN 61000 for RFI immunity.

Equipped with protection against overload and short-circuit conditions, the power supply includes front panel LED indicators, DC output enabled, power supply OK, overvoltage trip.

The PSU uses a 100kHz mosfet power conversion technique to deliver a high efficiency of 90% and long life at full power.

The power supply measures 279 x 207 x 100mm, weighs only 4kg and has an operating temperature range at full load of -20 to +50C.
