Sager sees fruits of Cherry programme

Sager Electronics was recognised at the recent 2005 Electronic Distribution Show by Cherry Corporation's Electrical Products Division for growth in sales volume and customers served.

Sager Electronics, the electronic distribution industry's leading privately held, employee-owned company, was recognised at the recent 2005 Electronic Distribution Show by Cherry Corporation's Electrical Products Division for growth in sales volume and customers served.

Cherry is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of computer keyboards, snap-action and rocker switches, magnetic sensors and controls, and automotive modules.

"Cherry is pleased to recognise Sager's contributions to our sales programme".

"Sager clearly understands their role as a distributor and the importance of working with the rep community to meet customers' needs", stated Kevin Rafferty, Cherry's National Channel Sales and Marketing Manager.

"Through their service-oriented approach and their improved engagement in the field, Sager increased both Cherry's sales volume and the number of customers served", Rafferty continued.

Cherry presented the award to Sager before an audience that included Cherry's Sales Management and Cherry manufacturers representatives from across North America.

In accepting the award, Craig Sanderson, Sager's Vice President of Product Marketing stated: "Sager is pleased to receive Cherry's recognition".

"As Cherry strengthens its distributor channel and expands the product portfolio, we see the opportunity to continue our growth together with Cherry".

Plaques also were sent to Sager's service centres in recognition of each location's contribution to the Cherry programme.
