Sager Electronics has been selected by Viasystems as the company's first-ever distributor of the year.

Sager Electronics has been selected by Viasystems as the company's first-ever distributor of the year.

At a ceremony and luncheon at Viasystem's Juarez facility on 16th March 2006, the global provider of electromechanical components and assemblies awarded its top suppliers for their performance and set supplier expectations for 2006.

"Sager's superior customer service and our implementation of a local stocking facility, both of which resulted in a reduction of total acquisition costs, were cited as reasons why Viasystems chose to honour Sager with this award", stated Rich O'Connor, Sager's Regional Sales Director for the Southcentral Region.

"As one of 270 suppliers currently serving Viasystems, we were ecstatic to receive this recognition and we look forward to a repeat performance", O'Connor continued.
