New rules for Korean electrical market
The South Korean Government has broadened the scope of its Electrical Appliance Safety Certification Act.
The South Korean Government has broadened the scope of its Electrical Appliance Safety Certification Act The act has been subject to several changes: there are 15 new products on the list of electrical appliances; safety inspection methods have been introduced for imported second-hand electrical appliances; and there is now a possibility of exemption from inspection if the results of routine and on the market inspections of a product have been in conformity with the standard in the two previous years
