Electrical certification expands to NSW
SGS can now certify electrical goods for sale anywhere in Australia.
This new device can measure variables such as: luminous intensity distributions, luminance distributions, luminous flux, utilisation coefficient, service illuminance, optical power, colour rendering power index, colour temperature, chromaticity co-ordinates and the spectrum distribution wave of visual light.
SGS Fimko offers measurement of these variables on normal use and safety luminaires, incandescent, fluorescent and discharge lamps, control gear for lighting fittings and flat screens.
The near-field goniophotometer can accurately measure luminous intensity distribution at a short distance from the measuring object without moving the measured object, displaying the luminance distribution data as a "digital photo".
Photometric measurements can be carried out within a week, and can be combined with safety, EMC and RoHS testing and certification (FI, CB, CB-EMC, GS, ENEC, NRTL etc), or for benchmarking, product development and quality control.
The tests come with an impartial statement of results, which can be used as a marketing tool. Request a free brochure from SGS ...
