New 300MHz to 2GHz EMI suppression ferrite cable cores from Steward maintain magnetic performance even in high temperatures such as automotive or industrial environments.

New 300MHz to 2GHz EMI suppression ferrite cable cores from Steward maintain magnetic performance even in high temperatures such as automotive or industrial environments Steward's HFB ferrite material, from which the new HFB-series cores are produced, is engineered to achieve a high Curie temperature, so that EMI suppression continues unattenuated, even at elevated temperatures where ordinary ferromagnetic materials lose their magnetism

This high Curie temperature makes Steward HFB cores suitable for use in cables and wiring harnesses that may experience high operating temperatures or flash heating caused by electrostatic discharges or other sources of intense heat.

Steward HFB ferrite cores provide excellent impedance at higher frequencies and produce optimum EMI attenuation between 300MHz and 2GHz.

Peak impedance performance is well beyond 1GHz.

An extensive range of standard HFB ferrite core sizes is available for all industry standard cables and wiring harnesses, and custom sizes may be prepared to special order.
