The latest addition to Schurter's range of capacitive single switches is a compact device with a surface measurement of just 15 x 15mm.
A further advantage is cost-effective production for prototypes and small batches.
Using normal processes, the coloured front of membrane keyboards is usually produced using screen printing.
This technique is extremely expensive for small quantities as a result of the high setup costs.
Schurter's newly developed procedure for the front membrane eliminates these setup costs.
The printing for the print keypad is made on a design layer which is subsequently protected by a cover foil.
Utility model protection for this new production procedure has already been assigned.
The new production technology can be used for prototypes, pilot lots and small batches.
Larger quantities can also be produced if required.
Using this procedure for front foil production, Schurter can cover any design requirement.
