European demand sparks UK expansion
SiGe Semiconductor is expanding its UK operation in response to the overwhelming demand for the company's wireless and broadband integrated circuits across Europe.

Mike Doyle joins the company as the new Director of Sales, responsible for development of strategic customer relationships.
Gareth Bath will serve as Manager, Systems and Applications, operating as the primary customer interface for application and design support for SiGe's power amplifier products.
Doyle and Bath will be located at the company's new office, located near Stansted Airport.
The new facility houses an RF design centre and the wireless business unit, as well as the company's UK-based sales, marketing and engineering teams.
"SiGe has experienced tremendous growth in our UK operations, a testament to the high calibre of local sales and engineering talent", said Bill Haberlin, Vice President of Sales, SiGe Semiconductor.
"We are excited to have Mike and Gareth on the team.
Their combined expertise in business development, RF design and applications support will enable the continued expansion of our customer base across this region".
Mike Doyle brings to SiGe Semiconductor more than 18 years experience in sales, engineering, and applications support in the wireless and broadband markets.
Previously, Doyle held the position of European sales manager at Anadigics selling wireless power amplifiers and optical components.
Prior to this he was at Thompson Electronic Components and Microwave Associates.
Gareth Bath has over 20 years experience in senior program management, business development, and RF system design.
Prior to joining SiGe Semiconductor, Bath held senior design management and RF engineering positions at Anadigics, Lucent Technologies, AT and T and Nokia Mobile Phones.
