SiGe Semiconductor has appointed Nigel Heather Vice President of Engineering and Acting Chief Operating Officer.

SiGe Semiconductor has appointed Nigel Heather Vice President of Engineering and Acting Chief Operating Officer.

Heather will oversee global product marketing, engineering and operations initiatives, based out of SiGe Semiconductor's offices near London, UK.

Nigel Heather brings to SiGe Semiconductor more than 15 years of experience in multisite, multicountry engineering management and IC design.

He was previously Vice President of Engineering at ARC International, and Operations Director at Tality (UK), a subsidiary of Cadence.

Heather also gained extensive RF product development and operational management experience at Symbionics, as well as IC design experience at PA Consulting and GEC Research.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in computer science from the University of London.

"His multisite engineering and management experience will be a significant asset given the recent expansion of our US and UK facilities.
