Prior to joining SiGe Semiconductor, Brewer served as CEO and President of Xindium, a company providing RF power amplifiers for next-generation mobile handsets and terminals.
Previously, Brewer was the founder of Vincio, where he consulted to wireless communications startups as Vice President of Marketing for clients such as Nitronex and Xerox PARC.
Brewer was also a founder and vice president of marketing of Tropian, a company who developed a revolutionary approach to cellphone front ends.
During his career, Brewer was very successful at growing wireless transceiver product lines while holding management positions at Seiko Communications, Analog Devices and Tektronix, building on technical experience gained previously in wireless product companies.
Brewer holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University.
