A new 1U (44mm high) chassis for 19" rack mounting, the SR-105-ATX-180 from Sight Systems, is designed for space-critical applications such as servers, networks, telephony and E-commerce.
The slimline 480mm deep chassis is designed for space-critical applications such as co-location server rooms, networks, telephony and e-commerce, allowing up to 94 computer systems to be accommodated in a standard 47U rack cabinet.
Each of the two systems features an Intel 915G chipset, on-board dual or quad gigabit Ethernet, AC97 3D audio, two IEEE1394 interface, four serial advanced technology attachment controllers and support for up to 2GB of DDR2 dual channel memory.
Other options include Pentium M in the LV673, dual core LGA775 and embedded EPIA.
Two notebook-style drives can be fitted providing CDROM, CDRW, DVDROM or DVDRW storage in addition to the hard drives.
The slide rail compatible chassis is powered by two integral 300W ATX 2.0 power supplies, one for each module.
Individual IEC inlet filters allow connection to two different circuits.
Also, for cooling, the systems incorporates six high speed fans.
The chassis is available in black and beige as standard, with any colour available as a special order.
