Silicon Integrated Systems has extended its long term chipset license agreement with Intel Corp.

Silicon Integrated Systems has extended its long term chipset license agreement with Intel Corp Following this extension, Silicon Integrated Systems has certain rights to produce chipsets that are compatible with Intel Pentium 4 microprocessors operating at an 800MHz system bus speed when those processors are formally released

"Having a long term license to produce chipsets for Intel's Pentium 4 microprocessor has been an important element of SiS's business", said Michael Chen, President and CEO of SiS.

"We are pleased to have this agreement with Intel".
