Available from Silica, the MCF5223x device family is the first 32bit microcontroller to deliver a Fast Ethernet controller, Ethernet PHY and Flash memory in a single-chip solution.

Freescale Semiconductor is enhancing its 32bit leadership with the introduction of two 68K/ColdFire microcontroller product families for industrial control applications ranging from remote data collection and security enhancements to home automation and environmental monitoring.

Available from Silica, the MCF5223x device family is the first 32bit microcontroller to deliver a Fast Ethernet controller, Ethernet PHY and Flash memory in a single-chip solution.

The MCF5222x device family offers the industry's first 32bit microcontroller with integrated USB On-The-Go and Flash memory.

It allows two USB devices to communicate without a host interface, making it ideal for system-to-system communication applications.

These device families widen the entry point to 32bit performance by giving design engineers options for enhanced control, connectivity and security capabilities on more cost-effective 68K/ColdFire 32bit embedded controllers.
