Continuing the development of its management team, Windsor-based printed circuit board manufacturer Speedboard has appointed a new Sales Manager.

Andy Kerr, who specialises in board construction and the characteristics of high-technology multilayer printed PCBs, takes on the role of promoting the company's board fabrication service.

"Andy's appointment is another step in a defined growth strategy, which is aimed at delivering higher technology product and service offerings from the PCB manufacturing operation", comments Managing Director Richard Watson.

"This strategy has already seen several new appointments to the PCB field sales team, as well as investment in the facility of approximately GBP 1 million in just three years.

Andy's technical knowledge and experience will be a great asset in winning new business and capitalising on the company's rapid growth within a highly competitive industry".

Kerr has worked in the electronics industry for 17 years, and joins Speedboard from DDI where he worked in technical sales, helping engineers to design HDI PCBs.

His extensive knowledge of the PCB industry has also taken in a spell at MAS Electronics, now part of Isola.
