As part of an ongoing, aggressive growth strategy, the Windsor-based EMS supplier has recruited Matthews to promote its manufacturing capabilities and its diverse range of assembly solutions.

"The appointment follows the major expansion of our contract electronics manufacturing capacity", says Managing Director Richard Watson.

"We have already appointed two internal sales staff specifically for our contract assembly customers to handle increased business levels.

Along with our PCB fabrication business, this has grown significantly over the past two years.

Clive's experience will be of great value to the company".

Matthews joins Speedboard with a demonstrable track record of success in a contract electronics manufacturing sales environment.

He brings with him the knowledge, expertise and commercial experience to implement further sales growth within the company and achieve defined long-term corporate objectives.

Matthews previously worked for Century, an electronics manufacturing global EMS provider, as Business Development Manager.

Within this position he achieved substantial growth, securing long-term partnerships with leading blue chip OEM customers.
